Plus or Minus
Plus or Minus

Plus or Minus is an up-and-coming duo from Seattle, Washington. Built on a foundation primarily of acoustic guitar, they weave many elements into their songwriting, pulling from a huge array of influences from indie folk to progressive metal. Their ambitious collaboration of intricate guitar and vocal work produces a sound entirely unique. With music that takes on elaborate shapes of its own, members Josh Brugman and Tony Dunlap only push it further: “Our work ethic is extremely progressive, and I think our music reflects that.”

Don Hutton, a local laid back singer-songwriter, opens the show at 7PM.

The Tenants

The Tenants formed in early 2012 with husband-wife duo Mitchell and Allison Dorn. The couple released their first EP “Iron and Gold” in April of that year in Appleton, WI. Mitch and Ally played acoustic shows across northeast Wisconsin before moving cross-country to Tacoma, WA in October 2012. In May 2013 after playing local open mics, the duo connected with drummer Thene Singleton and formed the Americana Folk Rock three piece. The Tenants played summer shows in the Tacoma area through July and August, teaming up with Dave Hannon, The Frosted Hearts, and The Sherman Family. The trio hopes to release a full length album in early 2014.
