7:00 – 7:30PM – G# Choir of Googlers
G# Choir is a staff and spouse corporate choir of Googlers, now in it’s 5th year. Meeting once a week during the workday, G# offers diverse repertoire to audiences and a creative break in the workday for singers. A project of “Play at Work: building a better workplace through music,” we prove that singing together makes a stronger community.
7:30 – 9:30PM – Blurry May
Bill Baxter and Laurie Betts Hughes are blurry may, a singer-songwriter acoustic rock duo on the Eastside of Seattle. He’s a rocker, she’s a classical musician. He plays guitar, she plays piano. He improvises, she reads notation. His writing has a gritty edge, hers is crafted and polished. His love of music connects him with the wild, hers connects her with the tame. And sometimes, none of these things are true. From all of this, blurry may was born.
