Dogwood & Johnstone with special guest Tempest (https://www.facebook.com/
Hailing from the hedge and loam of Seattle’s undergrowth, Dogwood aims to weave historical and wax hysterical in the old-new traditions of mountain men, shantymen, and her fellow men as she tromps acro’st both ancient myth and accidental malady.
Mr. Nathaniel Johnstone is perpetually trying to figure out what he sounds like. At times he’s blues, metal, punk, folk, celtic, with a whole bunch of other things thrown in for good measure. He loves music from the world.
By their forces combined Dogwood & Johnstone make music meant to confound, delight, and infuriate in equal measure.
Using a cello and an electronic loop pedal, Betsy Tinney (https://www.facebook.com/
Cade Tinney is a Northwest singer/songwriter whose sweet, soaring voice has enchanted audiences from Seattle to Baltimore. Cade’s backing band for this concert is Bowl Full of Monocles (consisting of Nathaniel Johnstone, guitar; Sunnie Larsen, viola; and Betsy Tinney, cello). In addition to music, Cade is a talented visual and makeup artist, and has a very naughty Maine Coon cat named Lady Amalthea, a fondness for D&D, and a complete lack of pet squids.
