One of Seattle’s finest harpists, Monica Schley, plays her mesmerizing compositions and holiday carols on Friday, Dec. 13, 2019 7:30pm at Soulfood Coffeehouse (15748 Redmond Way, Redmond, WA 98052).
A mainstay on Seattle’s music scene for nearly twenty years, she infuses her unique style with classical, Celtic, world folk, and jazz origins. Ms. Schley’s voice has been compared to k.d. lang and her advanced harp skills have been called “intricate and determined.” — Jon Rooney, Ball of Wax Quarterly.
Harp Carols is also a self-produced album celebrating music of 15th – 19th Century holiday season. Songs like “Lo How a Rose” “Carol of the Bells” and “Greensleeves” will transport you to a place of ancient calm.
