About the bands:
Hailing from the hedge and loam of Seattle’s undergrowth, Dogwood aims to weave historical and wax hysterical in the old-new traditions of mountain men, shantymen, and their fellow men as they tromp acro’st both ancient myth and accidental malady.

Mr. Nathaniel Johnstone is perpetually trying to figure out what he sounds like. At times he’s blues, metal, punk, folk, celtic, with a whole bunch of other things thrown in for good measure. He loves music from the world.

By their forces combined Dogwood & Johnstone make music meant to confound, delight, and infuriate in equal measure.

Sarah Shay sings nerdy folk songs that are usually funny but sometimes sad, interspersed with her insights into pop culture and storytelling. Also jokes!
